With the holidays around the corner, it is especially important to remember those who could use a little help. The Bristol is proud to support the following organizations:

Share Our Strength
taste.strength.org
In 2004, Share Our Strength developed its national strategy to end childhood hunger in America. This strategy focuses on long-term solutions that support access to nutritious foods and healthy choices—the difference between feeding a family tonight and ensuring that they never have to worry about when their next meal will come. It is designed to bridge the gaps between existing, effective programs and the families who need them.

Common Threads
www.commonthreads.org
Common Threads teaches low-income children to cook wholesome and affordable meals because we believe that through our hands-on cooking classes we can help prevent childhood obesity and reverse the trend of generations of non-cookers, while celebrating our cultural differences and the things people all over the world have in common.

Meals on Wheels
www.mealsonwheelschicago.org
Meals on Wheels Chicago provides funding to programs that support home-bound senior citizens and people with disabilities allowing them to continue to live independently in their own homes, with dignity and self-respect.
